Police in Kuria West, Migori County have arrested four Burundians for being in the country illegally.
Area police commander Cleti Kimaiyo said the four, aged between one and thirty-two, were found stranded at Isebania Bus Park.
The four were arrested following a tip-off from members of the public. Police added that they believe that the four sneaked into the country through the Kenya-Tanzania border.
"They were not in possession of any travel documents. They have been handed over to the immigration department for further action," Kimaiyo noted.
Kimaiyo added that this is part of an ongoing crackdown on foreigners who are in the country illegally.
Last year, 13 Burundians were arrested at Isebania town after they were dropped off at the Isebania bus park by bodaboda riders from Tanzania.
Police said the Burundians were attempting to board vehicles plying the Migori-Kitale route when they were intercepted by police.
