Folarin Balogun has made a key demand to the Arsenal hierarchy amid interest from Inter and several Premier League rivals.
Arsenal have spent some £200million this summer as they look to go one better than last term's second place Premier League finish.
The Gunners spent a club-record £105million on Declan Rice, as well as £65million on Kai Havertz and £38million on Ajax's Jurrien Timber.
While Mikel Arteta has hinted at more signings this summer, the Premier League outfit are looking to sell before re-entering the market.
One player that appears set to leave is academy graduate Balogun, who netted 21 goals while on loan at Ligue 1 side Reims last term.
While the 22-year-old is eager to leave, given he is behind Eddie Nketiah and Gabriel Jesus in the striker pecking order, his suitors appear to have been put off by Arsenal's reported £45million asking price.
Balogun's Arsenal request
According to Ben Jacobs the US international has asked the Gunners to drop their asking price and sanction a move away from the club.Moreover, Jacobs noted that West Ham were among several Premier League clubs interested in the player.
The journalist tweeted: "Folarin Balogun has asked Arsenal to drop their asking price. He's already said he won't go out on loan. Inter felt £45m was too high and have now bid for West Ham's Gianluca Scamacca. They haven't entirely ruled out signing Balogun, though.
"Balogun feels Arsenal have added £10m extra to fee and it's pricing him out the market. #AFC argue their valuation is more than fair given his 22 goals last season at Reims and potential. Some at the club want £50m as a minimum.
"Keep an eye on West Ham. They haven't moved for Balogun yet but do like the player. Multiple Premier League have enquired."
