Erik ten Hag is convinced that Marcus Rashford will be able to turn his difficult start to the season around for Manchester United after struggling to find the back of the net.
Rashford was United's top scorer last season with 30 goals in all competitions, his best goalscoring campaign so far in his career.
However, the 25-year-old England international has scored just once for United so far this season, which came in the 3-1 Premier League loss on the road to Arsenal.
Of course, it is not just Rashford who has struggled to find form so far this season, with United overall having a difficult opening few months of the campaign.United suffered their second Premier League home loss in succession yesterday with a 1-0 defeat at Old Trafford to Crystal Palace.
It is a result which has left Ten Hag's side sitting tenth in the table, nine points behind league leaders and reigning-champions Manchester City after seven matches played.
If United are to turn their season around and get it back on track, Rashford will have to play a large part in that on the goalscoring front, with summer recruit Rasmus Hojlund still getting up to speed since his move from Italian side Atalanta. But United boss Ten Hag has backed Rashford to shake off his early season struggles and return to the goalscoring groove in time, believing his hard work means it will come after pointing out that scoring goals is not automatic.
As per the Daily Mirror, Ten Hag said: "I think he knows he can do better than he's doing now. I'm sure it'll come.
"He works hard, he will finish and it will come. It’s not automatic. As you've seen today, we were in the right positions and the decision-making was not good enough and we didn't score."
