Environnement and Climate Change PS Festus Ng'eno held a meeting with World Bank officials on a new Kenya Watersheds Integrated Program.
The program will be supported by World Bank and implemented countrywide.
The World Bank team was led by Ragini Dalal who called on the PS in his office.
Ng'eno called on the World Bank team to ride on FLLoCCA structures as they design the new Project and take advantage of the already existing climate change development committees at county levels.
Ng'eno said the government is keen to ensure a Multi-sectoral approach is applied in project implementation to ensure there is no overlapping of projects and people at the bottom of the pyramid reap more benefits from it.
The meeting was attended by Net Fund Kenya CEO Samson Toniok, World Bank Hisham Osman, Peter Waalewjn, Victor Vazquez, Phyllis Wachira Net Fund Kenya, Chrispin Omondi, Nailantei Mopel among others.
