England fans hilariously spotted a Scotland supporter 'shadow boxing' during their clash at Hampden Park on Tuesday.
The Three Lions beat Scotland 3-1, with Phil Foden, Jude Bellingham and Harry Kane getting on the score-sheet.
Harry Maguire scored an own goal to bring the hosts back into the game, but Gareth Southgate's side restored their two-goal lead when the Bayern Munich forward slotted home in the 81st minute.
Maguire appeared to aim a dig at Scotland fans on social media following the result. The Hampden Park faithful weren't just giving it to the Manchester United defender, but also to the visiting supporters in the away end.
A video shows a Scotland fan 'shadow boxing' during an England chant.Needless to say, the clip of the person 'shadow boxing' to the away fans sent social media wild. One X user joked: "Hope no one got hurt in the making of this video..."
A second said: "Calm down Roy Jones Jr."
A third added: "That’s brilliant."
A fourth mentioned Conor McGregor: "Been watching @TheNotoriousMMA."The abuse directed at Maguire during the match angered Gareth Southgate, who condemned the taunts in a furious rant following the result."I've never known a player treated the way he is," he said."But it's a consequence of ridiculous treatment of him for a long period of time.
"It's a joke. Not by the Scottish fans but by our own commentators, pundits or whatever it is. They've created something that's beyond anything I have ever seen.
"I think our fans recognised, 'OK there might be a bit of heat from our own supporters but we're not going to have others getting into him'."
