Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag appears to have come to a final decision over Donny van de Beek, who now looks set to leave the club this summer.
Van de Beek, 26, was left out of United's squad for the Champions League on Tuesday and appears destined to move on.
The Netherlands international has failed to live up to expectations since joining United in a £35m move from Ajax in 2020.
Persistent injury problems and a lack of form have restricted the midfielder to 60 largely underwhelming appearances for the Red Devils.Despite a deadline day move to Lorient collapsing, Van de Beek now looks set to leave United.
Galatasaray and Fenerbahce have both been linked with the midfielder, with the Turkish transfer window not closing until September 15.
Turkish outlet A Spor (via Sport Witness) claim Fenerbahce are particularly interested in Van de Beek. The report claims Van de Beek is 'looking forward to leaving' United after Ten Hag's latest snub.
Speaking earlier this summer, Van de Beek admitted he could leave Old Trafford.
"For now, it's hard to say where my future is," he said back in July.
"I've come back now after injury and I'm fit now, so I play my first minutes after training for a few weeks, so I try to push as hard as possible," Van de Beek said."Every day [something] can happen, so it's hard to say now where my future will be. In football you never know, especially with me, so let's see what happens."
Van de Beek's exit was made all the more likely when Sofyan Amrabat completed his loan move to United last week from Fiorentina.
Unlike Van de Beek, Morocco international Amrabat has been named in the club's 25-man squad for the Champions League, along with Jadon Sancho – who has made the cut despite his recent falling out with Ten Hag.
