The Citizens are occupying the ninth spot on the DStv Premiership standings - three points behind third-placed Moroka Swallows and they will move into the top four with a win over Chiefs.

WHAT WAS SAID?
Kaizer Chiefs defender Edmilson Dove
“I’m taking it as just any other game, and our preparation is the same as for any other opponents. I am just hoping that we are the winners on the day, and that’s all,” Dove said.
“A very good team, with good players. Some of them are my friends. I don’t want to speak much about how they are doing right now because my main focus is Kaizer Chiefs.
"Come Tuesday, we are going to do the best we can and be able to walk away with the three points. We are playing at home in front of our brilliant fans so we must impose ourselves on them.”
Cape Town City head coach Eric Tinkler
“Our main concern was that they [Spurs] were laying traps for us through the middle and we allowed them the opportunity of creating one or two difficult situations for us," Tinkler said.
"We looked to fix that at halftime and the response was good. We stretched them a lot more and our goals came from the wide areas. Sometimes it may look obvious but that's what we needed to do because they knew our threat was through the middle.
"And when once we started to do that, we opened them up and we could have ended up winning very comfortably. “I thought we could have got a fourth or even a possibly fifth goal. They showed the fight and the desire which they needed to show, especially against a team of this nature.”
Kaizer Chiefs: PLAYERS TO WATCH
Edmlison Dove: The former City defender was outstanding against Sekhukhune as grabbed the winning goal and was named Man of the Match. Dove will be looking to haunt his former employers when he faces City.
Edson Castillo: The Venezuelan midfielder always gives his best whenever he wears Amakhosi colours having netted his fourth goal of the season against Sekhukhune. Castillo could be key to his side's win over the Citizens.
Cape Town City: PLAYERS TO WATCH
Darwin Gonzalez: The Venezuelan forward was in his element in the Cape Derby over the weekend as he grabbed a goal and an assist. Gonzalez will be hoping to continue his good form in Johannesburg.
Khanyisa Mayo: The Bafana Bafana international grabbed a goal in the Cape Derby and he scooped a well-deserved Man of the Match accolade. Mayo has the ability to single-handedly inspire City to a win over Chiefs.
