Cape Town Spurs threw away a lead for the third game running as SuperSport United battled back to emerge 2-1 victors at Athlone Stadium.
The rock-bottom Urban Warriors hit the front through Therlo Moosa after just five minutes, but a brace from Bradley Grobler (35', 86') handed Matsatsantsa their third win in five outings to close within eight points of Mamelodi Sundowns in second spot.
Elsewhere, Moroka Swallows (3rd) and Chippa United (7th) played out to a 0-0 draw at the Dobsonville Stadium, while Polokwane City (5th) edged Richards Bay (15th) 1-0 at the King Goodwill Zwelithini Stadium courtesy of Mokibelo Ramabu's 45th-minute goal.
