Chelsea appear to have been handed a significant double injury boost ahead of this weekend's Premier League clash at Bournemouth.
The Blues have spent over £1 billion since a consortium co-led by Todd Boehly took over the club last year.
They spent significant sums of money during the recent summer transfer window, breaking the British transfer record to sign Moises Caicedo from Brighton for £110 million.
They also paid a total fee of around £60 million to sign Romeo Lavia from Southampton, and a combined fee of over £100 million to bring in Christopher Nkunku and Cole Palmer, while Axel Disasi and Robert Sanchez were among the other arrivals for over £50 million in total. But Mauricio Pochettino's side spent so heavily in the market partially as a result of injuries, with Chelsea missing a number of key players at the beginning of the season.
Nkunku suffered a knee injury in pre-season, while Wesley Fofana and Armando Broja have been long-term absentees.
In addition, Lavia, Benoit Badashile, Reece James and Carney Chukwuemeka are also currently sidelined.
But Chelsea appear to have received injury boosts on two players.Throughout his recovery from an ACL injury suffered during the World Cup break last year, Broja has also been monitored by the football association of his home country, Albania.
And the president of the Albanian FA has stated his belief that the forward will be ready to return to action 'this week'.
He explained (quotes via Sport Witness): "Broja has completed the recovery phase. We expect him to be on the bench with Chelsea this week, that is, ready to return to the field.
"He should normally be back in October for the Czech Republic game."
Meanwhile, first team training footage (via Reddit) has shown Blues defender Benoit Badashile back in full training with the squad.
The France international defender enjoyed a strong start to life at Stamford Bridge after arriving in January, despite the general struggles of the team. However, he hasn't played since May after suffering a groin injury.
