Manchester United have completed the signing of Andre Onana from Inter Milan as the club's summer rebuild gathers pace.
Onana, 27, has signed a five-year contract at Old Trafford and will become the club's first-choice goalkeeper - replacing David de Gea, who left United at the end of last month when his contract expired.
The Cameroon international joins United having spent just one season at Inter Milan.
He made 41 appearances in all competitions last season, keeping 19 clean sheets.
His performances helped Inter reach the final of the Champions League, where they lost 1-0 to United's rivals Manchester City, with the Italian club also finishing third in Serie A.
Onana only joined Inter last summer on a free transfer after leaving Ajax, where 214 appearances.
Sky Sports claim United have now agreed to pay Inter an initial fee of €51m (£43.8m) for Onana, plus €4m (£3.4m) in potential add-ons depending on individual and club performance.He becomes the club's second signing of the summer following Mason Mount's £55m move from Chelsea.
United could make their third soon with the club in talks to sign Atalanta striker Rasmus Hojlund.
After signing fro the club, Onana said: "To join Manchester United is an incredible honour and I have worked hard all my life to get to this moment, overcoming many obstacles along the way.
"Walking out at Old Trafford to defend our goal and contribute to the team will be another amazing experience. This is the start of a new journey for me, with new teammates, and new ambitions to fight for."Onana is expected to make his debut for United when they face Arsenal in a pre-season friendly at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey on Saturday.
