After a rather dull start to this year's entertainment circuit, high-flying Tanzanian singer Harmonize will be flying into Kenya over the weekend.
The singer, who is currently riding high with his single 'Wote,' is scheduled to arrive in Kenya on February 4 at around midday. He will be accompanied by his manager, band and other crew members.
Harmonize, affectionately known as ‘Konde Boy’ or ‘Ndovu’ by his fans, will be making his first trip to Kenya in 2023 and also his first ever to Embu, where he is scheduled to perform at the Java Blue Lounge, a swanky nightspot at the periphery of the Mt. Kenya town.The.The 'Mwenyewe' hitmaker, whose dramatic exit from Wasafi Music, a record label headed by his nemesis Diamond Platnumz became a hot tabloid topic across East Africa, has been promoting the much-anticipated show on his Instagram page while promising fans a knockout performance.
"Watu wangu wa Embu....tarehe nne mwezi wa Februari, tukutane pale Java Blue, Embu. Pande za mlima Kenya. Don't miss out. Its gonna be fun! See you there," he says in a video that has since made it's rounds across the internet.
Last year, the singer, whose on-and-off relationship with Kajala Masanja, an actress and film star in Tanzania, has always kept fans glued to the intricacies of the soapy love affair, visited Kenya a number of times, culminating in a massive show in Eldoret where he rocked the town on the same night as his Bongo counterpart Zuchu.
Harmonize is slotted to rock the Eastern Kenya town as from midnight and will be preceded on stage by Citizen TV's Willis Raburu alias 'Bazu'.
Legendary DJs Creme de la Creme and Pierra Makena will also keep revelers on their feet for hours before the Bongo singer finally roars onto the stage.
