Nzoia Sugar demonstrated yet again their quality and determination after a second half fightback saw them sink Kariobangi Sharks 3-1 yesterday at Utalii Grounds in Nairobi.
Victory ensured Nzoia stayed top of the FKF Premier League standings as they took the latest forward step in a brilliant season.
Nzoia trailed 1-0 at half time but came back to score three times in the second much to the excitement of head coach Salim Babu.
“To be honest I am so happy; my boys just never give up. They remained composed and followed my instructions and that's why they delivered the three points," Babu said.
Babu's charges have won 31 points from their opening 15 rounds and have a one-point advantage over Gor Mahia FC who have two games in hand.
They will take a rest this weekend before they host Posta Rangers in their next league assignment.
