Cape Town City have added another foreigner to their roster for next season, confirming on Friday the signing of Congolese defender Ramazani Tshimanga.
The 1,9metre tall centre back has signed a five year deal at the club, having been at City on trial for several months already
They were unable to sign him last season because of restrictions on the number of foreigners on the books.
Tshiamanga, 21, was previously at JS Groupe Bazano, who are based in Lubumbashi
City have already announced the arrival of Tshegofatso Nyama from TS Galaxy and Angolan forward Jo Pacienca from InterClube in Luanda.
The star of City’s DStv Diski team, Luyolo Slatsha, has been promoted up to the first team squad, which is much changed with the departure of Jordan Bender, Lyle Lakay, Bertrand Mane, Mogamat May and Mdu Mdantsane.
City will start the new season on August 6 away at TS Galaxy before hosting Kaizer Chiefs in the MTN8 quarterfinal one week later.
