Ange Postecoglou's heartwarming gesture towards a young fan has won the Tottenham boss even more fans.
Postecoglou has quickly established himself as a fan-favourite at the London Stadium following a brilliant start to life as head coach.
The Australian was named Premier League Manager of the Month in August after Spurs beat Manchester United and Bournemouth and drew 2-2 with Brentford.
Meanwhile, he has led by example off the pitch, delivering a hugely powerful speech about mental health within football during a recent press conference.
And the 58-year-old was classy as ever when answering a question from a young Spurs supporter with Down Syndrome, named Owen, at a club Q&A session. As host Nihal Arthanayake was wrapping up the event, Postecoglou interrupted and pointed out Owen in the audience, who had been patiently waiting to ask his question.
"Hang on, one more question down the front. He's got the best question," Postecoglou said.
Owen was keen to know how Tottenham would beat north London rivals Arsenal on the weekend.
The former Celtic manager thanked Owen for his question, before giving him a thumbs up as the audience applauded.
Postecoglou then answered: "[In terms of this weekend], we will do our best, everyone involved at the football club..... we understand what this team means to you all."
"Our role is try and make you happy and proud.. and that is what we will try and do."
Owen then met up with Postecoglou, Son Heung-min and Daniel Levy backstage after the session to take photos.Spurs chairman Daniel Levy waxed lyrical about his new manager during the Q&A, labelling the Aussie a "breath of fresh air".
"Honestly, there was a lot of pressure on me to bring in somebody that was a big name," Levy said.
"I just wanted somebody who understood our DNA, would play attacking football, that would give young players a chance, believe in the academy, would build a relationship with the fans and understand the resources that we have and don't have as a club and be part of a team.
"Ange, I have to say, is a breath of fresh air."
