The tournament which will be celebrating 5 Years since its inception has attracted 24 teams which are drawn from X (formerly known as twitter).
The teams will be played on knockout basis with the winner taking home a cash prize of Sh100,000, courtesy of sponsors, betting company Odibets. The losing finalists will pocket Sh60,000 while the third placed team gets a Sh40,000 consolation.
Tournament founder Alex ‘SirAlexas’ Muange said it will be great to watch the tournament celebrate it’s fifth year, with immense success and growth.
“When we started #KOT5Aside, we never knew we will ever get to this point, but five years later we have done 12 Editions, three of them outside Nairobi. The journey has been beautiful and we want to thank our sponsors Odibets for their support since we started our partnership in June 2019,” Muange said.
He added; “We are looking forward to another great tournament. We have never had a team successfully defend their titles and that shows how competitive the tournament has been.”
The tournament will start at 9am and run all the way to 6pm.
