Two men have escaped death after a light aircraft that they had boarded crashed in Baringo County.
The aircraft, 5Y-PEC, which was from Narok crashed on Sunday while preparing to land at the Kampi ya Samaki airstrip, which is close to Lake Baringo.
It landed on a perimeter wall near Sandai Resort, along the shores of Lake Baringo in a 10.00 am accident.
Lake Baringo conservator Jackson Komen confirmed that the the aircraft was badly damaged, and survivors were taken to Marigat Sub-county hospital for treatment.
