Position Summary:

• Greet and accompany guests to their rooms, providing assistance with opening doors and ensuring a smooth entry and exit from the property.
• Inform guests about property amenities, services, operating hours, as well as local attractions and activities.
• Familiarize guests with room features, such as the use of room keys, mini-bar, ice and vending areas, in-room safe, and valet laundry services.
• Transport guest luggage to and from guest rooms or designated bell area.
• Assist with luggage storage and retrieval.
• Assist guests in and out of vehicles, including loading and unloading luggage.
• Provide guests with directions and assist with arranging transportation (e.g., taxi cab, shuttle bus, limousine/sedan service).
• Record advance transportation requests as necessary.
• Communicate parking procedures to guests.
• Support Concierge and Front Office staff with guest requests and services when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a role model within the department and assist management in training, motivating, and coaching employees.
• Communicate effectively with guests, employees, and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Follow all company policies and procedures and report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager.
• Maintain awareness of any unauthorized individuals on the property premises.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance, adhering to uniform and grooming standards.
• Safeguard the confidentiality of proprietary information.
• Welcome and acknowledge all guests, anticipate their service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and express genuine appreciation.
• Use clear and professional language when speaking with others and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.
• Foster positive working relationships with others.
• Comply with quality assurance standards and expectations.
• Read and verify information in various formats, including small print.
• Respond promptly to work situations, moving at a required speed.
• Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods, including climbing stairs and ramps.
• Lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance, and assist with objects weighing over 75 pounds.
• Maneuver on various surfaces, including slopes, uneven or slippery areas, stairs, and ramps.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.
