Office of the Vice Chancellor
Key duties and responsibilities
• Serve as the academic and administrative head of the Campus College.
• Provide direction, organization, and administration of all Campus programmes and operations.
• Ensure sound student conduct and discipline consistent with University policies and regulations.
• Maintain effective accountability to the Vice Chancellor for the proper management of resources, quality assurance, and performance outcomes.
Qualifications and experience
• Professor or Associate Professor with an earned PhD (or equivalent).
• At least ten years’ experience in senior academic and management roles at Senior Lecturer level and above.
• Demonstrated leadership within a modern university environment, having served as a Dean or Director for at least four years.
• Proven ability to coordinate academic, research, and administrative functions; knowledge of strategic planning in higher education; familiarity with national education laws and policies; and the highest ethical standards.
• Completion of a Senior Management Course/Strategic Leadership Development Programme is an added advantage.
Terms of service

Procurement Department
Key duties and responsibilities
• Plan, coordinate, and supervise the Procurement Unit and ensure the development and implementation of the University’s annual procurement plan.
• Provide inputs for budget preparation relating to procurement activities.
• Validate that requisitions align with the approved procurement plan and that funds are available before initiating proceedings.
• Coordinate the preparation of specifications, terms of reference, prequalification and tender documents, and facilitate reviews prior to issue.
• Organize tender openings and ensure accurate records are maintained in line with the Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Act (2015) and Regulations (2020).
• Prepare submissions for award approvals in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
Qualifications and experience
• Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Procurement and Supply Chain Management (or related fields).
• Minimum ten years of relevant experience, with at least five years at senior level.
• CPSP-K (or equivalent), valid KISM membership in good standing, and licensure as a procurement practitioner.
• Demonstrable proficiency with relevant software and ERP systems.

• Design, implement, and manage the University’s security strategy and frameworks.
• Lead security operations, including emergency response, crisis management, incident reporting, and investigative functions.
• Oversee security technology deployments (e.g., CCTV, access control) and collaborate with ICT on cybersecurity intersections where applicable.
• Coordinate with state agencies, including the National Police Service and National Intelligence Service, to ensure robust campus safety.

• Report accidents and handle cases of vehicle mishandling by authorized drivers.
