The native NACS charging port allows drivers to use thousands of Tesla Superchargers across the U.S., charging at up to 150kW speeds. A NACS-to-CCS adapter will also be included, ensuring compatibility with older stations.
Charging from 10–80% takes just 26 minutes, and with bidirectional vehicle-to-home (V2H) capability, the Bolt can supply up to 9.6kW of power to your home — a major plus during power outages.
Chevy’s announcement comes at a time when Tesla is facing criticism for its so-called “budget” models, which still stretch beyond the reach of most buyers. By contrast, the 2027 Chevy Bolt promises real affordability without cutting corners on range, performance, or features.
