Taking history, examining, diagnosing, ordering laboratory and imaging investigations
• Interpreting laboratory and imaging results
• Treating patients’ common ailments at an outpatient or inpatient health facility
• Implementing Community Health Care activities in liaison with other health workers
• Carrying out surgical procedures as per training and skill
• Collecting and prepare the weekly plans/schedules and reports.
• Ensure that the clinic environment is safe and complies with infection control standards.
• Document all aspects of patient care and maintain accurate and complete medical record
• Create phenomenal patient experiences, including counseling and sensitizing patients through health talks on preventive and promotive health.
• Assessing, preparing and presenting medico-legal reports and referring patients and clients to appropriate health facilities Any other duty as maybe assigned from time to time by the supervisor
Academic Qualifications/Professional Skills/Expertise:
. Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution
. Certificate of Registration from Clinical Officers’ Council
. Valid Professional Practice License from the Clinical Officers’ Council
. Certificate in computer applications.
