ROLE PURPOSE:
Under the general technical supervision of the IT & Knowledge Management Systems Manager, the IT Assistant will troubleshoot all IT equipments including laptops, desktops, printers, scanners, multifunction machines, switches, …etc, receive the IT procured equipments, install the needed software and configure it as proper, procuring IT equipments including inspecting prices inspecting specifications against the needed function and building good network with the IT companies, troubleshoot Internet service and building good relationship with our ISPs, participate in troubleshoot our Electronic Systems accessibility, AMS, FMS, OneNet, Effort report
Reports to: IT Officer
Dimensions: SCEgypt CO has main office at Cairo, field offices, Alex office, Upper Egypt (include Assiut, Minia & Beni Suef), & Hubs, in addition to activities in other governorates.

KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:
· Administrate the Hard ware status for the IT equipments (Laptops, Desktops, printers, switches…etc) in the main office, field offices & hubs.
· Administrate the Installation and configuration & maintaining the information technology assets (Hardware, Software, Systems) ensure the working conditions and distortion recovery.
· Prepare the IT needed equipments and deliver it to the new comer,
· Contribute the CO’s new computers, printers…etc configuration and installation processes. Administrate and troubleshoot the network issues and provide solutions.
· Installs and maintain the network equipments and administrate the Users authority levels according to the country office’s IT Policies.
· Ensure the Internet service is compliant with “BW/users” SCI requirements,
· Administrate day to day hardware, network and infrastructure equipments required troubleshooting including laptop, desktops, printers, data shows, networks switches, routers etc,
· Configures the clients Email and SCI applications/platforms.
· Ensure all network devices has the most updated firmware and batches,
· Analyses the offers received from the vendors considering price and quality
· Builds a strong network relationship with the vendors
· Ensure the ISP is committed Internet speed and contention ratio,
Administrate, Monitor and Maintain the CO’s Hardware and Software protection to, protect the network from external hackers, spam, Adware, and spyware.
· Determines the IT needed for projects/departments and estimate properly with cost effectiveness for the IT equipments
· Ensure the Jira ticketing system KPIs in line with the required timeline rates,
· Maintains and configure the email client software updates and hot fixes.
· Participate in the IT equipments purchasing, including the technical specs, estimated prices, committee meeting as a technical member, receiving the equipments and making all the required configuration and setting up.
· Searching the internet for programs and solution to support the overall functions of the projects and departments.
· Maintaining communication & Internet connections, including routers, , wireless access points, switches, …,etc.
· Administrate, and maintain the user’s software updates, batches and hot fixes.
· Maintain the IT equipments database,
· Ensure the IT equipments Database is updated on spot upon any changes,
· Ensure the encryption solution in place and configured for all computers,
· Ensure the MFA mechanism is running smoothly,
· Managing SCI Egypt CO new comers & leavers IT tasks
· Ensures low record for downtime,
Budget Management Support
· Handling the needed IT equipments according to the available budget from the different projects.
Partnership and Capacity Building
· Regular communication with all SCEgypt colleagues’ offices, offer technical support, advice and orientation & induction.
Documentation.
· Maintain the IT equipments Inventory list and asset receipt form making the required tracking systems and the required updates in time,
Collaboration and Networking
Build a good network with all IT companies, ISPs & partners.
Working as Focal Person at field level
· Provides support to all, main, field offices and hubs staff.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
· University degree in Communications/Computer Engineering, IT, or relevant area
· Three to five years’ experience in the same field.
· Excellent knowledge of computer programmes, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point and simple database programmes.
· Very good written and verbal communication, presentation and representation skills and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
