Title: MANAGER, PEOPLE AND ORGNISATION DEVELOPMENT (MPOD)

Location: icipe Duduville Campus

Duration: 2 Years

Preamble

icipe is seeking to appoint an outstanding, dynamic and self-motivated induvial to fill the position of Manager, People and Organisation Development (MPOD). The MPOD reports to the Director of Finance and Administration (DFA) and is a member of the senior management team.

S/he leads the Centre’s organization development (OD) responsibilities and human resources (HR) services.

S/he will be involved in strategic planning as well as a host of continuous improvement initiatives that will prepare the Centre for tomorrow’s challenges and support the achievement of the vision and mission of the Centre. To review icipe’s Vision and Strategy 2021–2025, download this at:

The position is tenable in Nairobi at the icipe Duduville campus and will be offered for an initial contract of 2 years, renewable subject to continued funding and performance of the staff member.

A competitive and generous compensation package that includes housing and transport allowances, education allowance, comprehensive health and life insurance cover, and an offshore retirement package (all payable in US Dollars), will be offered to the right candidate.

Furthermore, the incumbent will receive paid annual vacation and return airfare for themselves and their dependents to their nominated home base each year. If the successful candidate is appointed from outside Kenya, s/he will be offered support to relocate and settle in Nairobi.
