Responsibilities Duties:

• Establishing media lists, pitching stories to the media, and managing social media.

• Create and provides content and story that attracts and leads to multiple social media platforms.

• Planning, implementing, and monitoring the company’s social media strategy to increase brand awareness.

• Analyse and communicate industry trends. • Provide administrative support to the secretariat.

• Monitor daily social media traffic and engagement. • Create monthly newsletter and activity reports.

• Regular updates of the association’s website, PowerPoint presentations, letterhead and other stationary to conform to any changes.

Academic Qualifications/Professional Skills/Expertise:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in communication, Public Relations, Digital Marketing or equivalent Specialized knowledge:

Digital content creation Skills:

Excellent Communicator, Techno savvy, planning & organizing Abilities:

The association exists to deliver value to its members. The PR Intern position seeks to continuously improve the associations brand and brand visibility, through content creation and use of all kinds of media, including print and social media management. This role requires brand positioning, awareness, and penetration through all communication platforms. The role will include growing, shaping and maintaining the association value and brand. Identify media opportunities, such as monthly newsletter, maintaining existing media relations and promoting public awareness.
