BUSINESS ANALYST

Madison Life Assurance Kenya Limited, a subsidiary of Madison Group Limited, is a well-known provider of life assurance, group schemes and pension administration in Kenya. The Group also provides through two other subsidiaries, general insurance, underwriting as well as fund management services.
The Company is recruiting for the position of Business Analyst – Operations for the Operations Department. The job holder will be based at its Head Office in Madison House, Nairobi.

BUSINESS ANALYST

Conduct company & market analysis, analyzing both product lines, market category and customer segmentation. In addition, the jobholder will assist in the development of quality metrics and reports to assist the business and marketing department.

Key Responsibilities

1. Collect data and intelligence on the overall insurance industry in Kenya or Africa and on specific companies in Kenya.
   2. Analyze collected information to give insight on the industry and future direction of the industry.
   3. Compare Madison performance to industry performance using IRA, RBA reports and other data sources.
   4. Prepare the monthly operations report and MD’s detailed operations report and any other reports required from time to time.
   5. Assist in writing various board reports.
   6. Assist in developing company KPIs and monitoring metrics
   7. Assist the Marketing Department in data analysis to support their initiatives.
   8. Monitor the performance of the company against the strategy.
   9. Facilitate departments in analytical work required to fully execute the marketing plan and other agreed activities
   10. Spearhead Life Operations automation process in consultation with departmental managers
   11. Conduct periodic operational risk/Audit reviews and implement strategies to mitigate the risks.
   12. Monitor the operational performance of ICT systems and ensure maximum utilization of deployed systems
   13. Monitor and periodically review processes, identify gaps and ensure continuous improvement of customer satisfaction and retention.
   14. Other duties as may be assigned by the Operations Manager from time to time.
