Responsibilities
- Supporting the Human Resource department in all administrative and other assigned duties.
- Preparing and Coordinating all employee social events.
- Ensure the employee communication boards are up-to-date and attractive.
- Ensure every employee has a complete employee file and all documents filed accordingly.
- Ensure timely preparations and submission of details for payroll processing and Validation within the set deadlines.
- Ensure that probation expiry dates are timely communicated to the HOD’S and assessments completed on time.
- Ensure performance evaluations are timely done and paperwork maintained in associate files.
- Update and maintain information on the HRMIS.
- Ensure new joiner starting dates are communicated and coordinated with the respective HODs and the Training department.
- Keep track of all employees anniversaries and ensure gifts/cards are timely issued.
- Ensures all necessary background checks are completed before contract issuance to prospective employees.
- Assist/ and or coordinate all employee engagement activities calendar and maintain effective associate communication channels e.g., internal memos, tracks monthly departmental meetings, assists with regularly scheduled hotel townhalls, team buildings, GM round table meetings.
- Participate in periodic review of job descriptions for each position.
- Participates in associate progressive discipline procedures. Ensures disciplinary procedures and documentation are up to date.
- Ensures all work permit and immigration documentations are properly recorded, filed and updated.
- Submit all monthly HR Score card reports within the set deadlines.
- Complete all scheduled trainings with the specified period.
What we need from you
- Degree in Human Resource or its equivalent and post graduate diploma in Human Resource
- Member of Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM).
- 2 to 3 years experience in Hospitality Human Resource Management on a similar role or Human Resource Assistant.
- Experience in Human Resource Management system (HRMS) will be an added advantage.
- Proficiency in Excel and Word.
- Applies a professional, confidential and ethical approach at all times
- Strong people leadership and communication skills
- Able to work in a fast paced environment and can multitask
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
