The Hospital is soliciting for qualified applicants for the position of Dental Officer.

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Dental Surgery from a recognized university.
• Registered with the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council.
• At least 2 years relevant post-qualification experience.
• Should demonstrate high level of compassion, integrity, commitment, professionalism, stewardship and God-fearing.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Conducts assessment and provides comprehensive treatment to dental patients.
• Management of curative, preventive and promotive dental services.
• Continually pursue current treatment methods ensuring the standard operating procedures are maintained.
• Undertakes appropriate investigations during patient examination to determine the need for specialist orthodontic advice in the management of the developing dentition.
• Identifies commonly occurring medical emergencies and undertakes the first line management of the emergency, using appropriate techniques, equipment and drugs.
• Ensures compliance with hospital and national clinical policies relevant to the safe practice of dentistry.
