Qualification
Education, Skills and Experience
A Master’s Degree from a recognized University in a relevant field.
Must have at least three (3) years’ experience in Grade 9 or at a comparable position.
Must be Computer Literate and highly proficient in ms-word, excel, SPSS and other computer statistical analysis software.
Must have good analytical, report writing and report presentation skills with adequate proficiency in data visualization techniques.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Providing customer service and necessary support to postgraduate students, supervisors and instructors or individuals who have questions about performance and progression.
- Maintaining provisional result slips of academic records or other documents for postgraduate and ensure that student files/records are regularly updated.
- Ensuring postgraduate student records are organized and that all documentation are readily accessible for reference.
- Overseeing postgraduate student requests for supervision, seminars, ethical review, publications, introduction letters and relevant documents to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with requirements.
- Scheduling regular allocation of supervisors, meetings, presentations, and other events on campus.
- Providing individual student weekly and monthly progress reports to the board of graduate studies.
- Develop and maintain a schedule of activities for the respective schools each semester.
- Providing guidance and leadership in implementation of policies towards research ethos at the University.
- Promoting collaborative research between students and supervisors.
- Conducting a research capacity needs assessment and advise on necessary capacity building workshops and mentoring sessions.
- Directing students to sources of funding for their projects.
- Providing data to enhance institutional research profile.
