PCEA Chogoria Hospital was established in 1922 and serves as a referral and teaching hospital. It has a 295 bed capacity that focuses on the provision of Curative, Preventive and Promotive Health Care services in the greater Meru, Embu and as far as Isiolo and Marsabit Counties.

We are seeking to fill the following positions :

1. Emergency & Critical Care Clinical Officers (ECCCO) (2 Posts)

Minimum Requirements

• Must have a Higher Diploma in Emergency & Critical Care (ECCCO) training from a recognized institution
• Must have a minimum Diploma in Registered Clinical Officer training from a recognized institution
• Must be registered and possess a valid practice license from the Clinical Officers Council
• Must have at least 1 year experience from a busy facility

2. Laboratory Technologist ( 1 Post)

Minimum Requirements

• Must have a Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology from a recognized institution
• At least 1-year post-registration experience
• Must be registered with Kenya Medical Laboratory Technicians and Technologists Board
• Must possess a valid Practicing license from Kenya Medical Laboratory Technicians and Technologists Board (KMLTTB)

3. Mortician ( 1 post)

• Must have a minimum Certificate in mortuary science
• Demonstrate Counseling skills 
• Must be a team player who is able to work cordially in teams 
• At least one-year work experience in a busy mortuary

4. MEDICAL OFFICER – 1 POST

Minimum
Qualifications

Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (M.B;
Ch.B.) degree from a recognized Institution by Medical Practitioners and
Dentists council;

Successfully
completed one (1) year internship from a recognized institution;

Must have a valid Practice license from the Medical
Practitioners and Dentists council

5. RCO/ NURSE ANAESTHETIST – 1 POST 

Minimum
Qualifications

Must have a Higher Diploma in either Clinical
Medicine & Surgery (Anesthesia) or Higher Diploma in Kenya Registered Nurse
Anesthetist from a recognized institution

Must be registered by the Clinical Officers’
Council of Kenya or the Nursing Council of Kenya

Must have a valid practicing license
