Brief Description:
The Fuel Data Officer intern at Kenya Airways will be responsible for developing and executing fuel initiatives and cost reduction activities related to Jet Fuel Consumption within the organization. They will also contribute to improving data availability and information to support the development of strategies related to Jet Fuel Consumption.

Detailed Description:
Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities:

• Maintain a database for aircraft fuel burn records.
• Collect fuel initiatives data, analyze trends, and provide insights for improvement.
• Coordinate with fuel suppliers to ensure timely service delivery.
• Develop and maintain a database on aircraft fuel consumption, providing statistical analysis to reduce operational costs.
• Contribute to environmental and sustainability projects related to fuel.
• Perform other duties as required.

Job Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:

• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Knowledge of Jet Fuel Operations, Flight Planning Procedures, and Flight Data Analysis.
• Proficiency in analytical tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Familiarity with the Jet Fuel Industry and Market.

Minimum Years of Experience:

• KCSE (Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education) with at least a B plain grade.
• At least 6 months of experience in Flight Dispatch Planning and Operations.
• Additional experience in Jet Fuel Contracting, Pricing, and Operations is advantageous.
