About Me
I am a goal oriented retired military officer with excellent leadership and management skills seeking to effectively contribute my extensive training and experience in security operations in the private sector. I have served as a team leader for more than a decade during which time my responsibilities entailed the command and supervision of personnel charged to perform various military and administrative duties. I ensured proper documentation of service records and kept up to date inventory of sensitive
equipment. I managed this using Ms office applications for word processing, database management, spreadsheets and presentations. I thrived in situations that required critical thinking to upset challenges. I successfully commanded tactical combat teams to complete operational missions in the country and the horn of Africa. The success of these missions depended on how quickly we could adapt to dynamic situations under extreme duress. I supervised duties in multiple departments and ensured timely completion of tasks.I also served in an instructional capacity for seven years in a military academic institution (The kenya army corps of signals school of communication information systems). I trained service personnel on radio and telecommunication systems operation concepts. My responsibilities included student lectures, evaluations and field assessments. I have working knowledge of security equipment for monitoring, surveillance and communication in static installations. I have good command of radio voice procedures and emergency communication protocols. I have worked closely with various national disaster management response teams in proactive measures to avert and manage national disasters in the country. I am also a certified First Aid caregiver. I have a background knowledge in business management studies which was put into use as a regional member delegate and sales representative for Harambee sacco for four years, facilitating loan processing,update of member records and welfare payments for the bereaved members families. During my tenure,regional members interest in Sacco activities rose considerably due to a refreshed perspective on sacco benefits and efficient service delivery to the members. My goal is to utilise my training and expertise in security to provide a safe working environment for professionals in any setting
