Job Description

The sales Agronomist will be responsible for meeting and exceeding sales objectives of the assigned territory by promoting and selling products through professional sales techniques and long-term customer relationships.

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a proper framework for selling  agronomy products.
  • Ensure current customers have the right  product knowledge and services.
  • Identify and develop new markets and customer leads, and pitch to prospective customers.
  • Carry out field visits to meet farmers, distributors and other stakeholders as required, and make presentations on products range.
  • Collect and analyze relevant market information and formulate an appropriate response strategy.
  • Manage  
  • Keep abreast of competition, competitive issues and products and communicate timely to the office.
  • Attend and participate in sales meetings, product seminars and trade shows.
  • Prepare written presentations, technical and business reports.
  • Prepare and submit weekly and monthly reports on all your activities as may be prescribed.
  • Provide follow-up with customers to ensure customer satisfaction with products.
  • Timely follow up and handling of customer complaints.
  • Follow up on payment plans/debt collections.

Academic and Professional Qualification

  • Diploma or Undergraduate Degree in Agriculture or Horticulture.

Work Experience

  • Minimum of two years’ experience in Agro chemical industry
