Job Description
Overall purpose of the job:
- Reporting to the Health Centre Manager, the incumbent will perform and oversee nursing duties at the outpatient centre for quality patient care.
Key responsibilities:
- Administration of medicine and performance of minor clinical procedures
- Management of clinical and general consumables within the Outpatient Centre
- Ensure equipment, supplies and materials required for the smooth and efficient functioning of the Outpatient Centre are in place
- Ensure compliance with SOPs regarding triage and nursing procedures
- Preparation of quality reports as may be required by internal and external customers
- Coordination of the Infection Prevention and Control program
- Staff rota management
Position requirements:
- Diploma in Nursing
- A degree in Nursing is an added advantage
- Must have a valid registration certificate from the Nursing Council
- Three years of experience as a practising nurse
- ICT competency
- Good customer service skills
- Self-motivated and a team player
- Proven analytical, organisational, communications and problem-solving skills
