Job Description

To develop and maintain a security policy, develop programs to protect inventory, moveable and immovable assets, operations and information against threats posed or possibly arising from malicious practices, crime and labour unrest. 

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Prepare and regularly update security policies, plans and procedures.
  • Identify and evaluate threats, vulnerabilities/ exposures and consequent risks to company assets and operations. 
  • Develop human material and procedural security protection measures. 
  • Ensure safety training for staff is conducted regularly. 
  • Manage/ collaborate/ monitor with contracted security team.
  • Uphold regulatory compliance within the organization
  • Manage security affairs and go to person for security related matters including breaches
  • Provide detailed reports on activities and incidents that have occurred to management

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • At least Diploma in security related field.
  • Computer literacy skills.
  • Professional accreditation.
  • At least 5 years experience in a similar position
  • Keen eye for detail and excellent knowledge of security protocols
  • Effective communication skills. 
  • Ability to react appropriately in stressful situations.
