Currently, the Out Patient Department has evolved into a one stop shop for all medical services expected of a national referral hospital. Despite the high cost of day to day operations and purchase and maintenance of modern medical equipment, The Outspan Hospital has retained very low rates in charges and fees. Some of the rates have never been reviewed since the facility opened its doors.
Job Description
Job summary:
To provide comprehensive dental care, promote oral health strategies and ensure quality of dental services to patients as well as ensure safe, secure and healthy environment for patients and other stakeholders.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of oral health conditions
- Preform preventive dental procedures
- Preform oral surgery procedures
- Prescribe medications
- Conduct examinations of patients
- Provide instructions to patients on oral hygiene
- Stay updated with industry best practices and maintain compliance with regulatory standards, ensuring high-quality, and ethical care
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor of Dental Surgery from a recognized institution
- Must have been registered with Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentist Board
- Have a valid practicing license
- Professional insurance indemnity cover
- Have at least 3 years’ experience in a busy hospital.
