Job Description

We are seeking a Legal Administrative Assistant with experience in case management and client communication. This role requires extensive use of the RingCentral telephone application and Casee case management system, along with strong organizational and client service skills.

Key Duties

  • Medical Records & Billing Requests: Identify pending requests based on Casee due dates; locate, review, and interpret previously submitted records.
  • Provider Communication: Properly identify medical facilities/departments and initiate contact via phone or written correspondence.
  • Data Entry & Documentation: Accurately memorialize details of communications with medical providers.
  • Follow-Up Scheduling: Determine and set appropriate follow-up dates for pending requests.
  • Paralegal Support: Identify scenarios requiring paralegal attention and communicate promptly.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent service to clients, acting as the first point of contact for questions and case updates.
  • Handle a high-volume caseload with efficiency and professionalism.
  • Perform administrative tasks, including heavy call volume and maintaining electronic files.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Medical Records & Billing Requests Experience
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant legal experience.
  • Strong computer skills; comfortable learning new software applications.
  • Ability to make authoritative decisions that align with company guidelines.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills; enjoys speaking with clients and delivering above-and-beyond customer service.
