Job Description
- Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies that drive growth and profitability across all farm products.
- Identify and pursue new market opportunities, partnerships, and distribution channels to expand the farm’s customer base.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients such as wholesalers, retailers, and institutional buyers.
- Negotiate and close sales agreements, ensuring product quality, fair pricing, and timely delivery.
- Oversee and coordinate all marketing campaigns digital, print, and field-based to promote the farm’s brand and products effectively.
- Manage the farm’s online presence, including social media platforms and digital advertising, to increase visibility and customer engagement.
- Conduct regular market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, pricing patterns, and consumer needs, translating insights into actionable business strategies.
- Plan, organize, and represent the farm at agricultural shows, exhibitions, and community events to boost brand recognition and sales opportunities.
- Design, produce, and distribute promotional materials such as brochures, product catalogs, and digital content to support sales initiatives.
- Recommend and implement pricing strategies that align with market dynamics and profit goals.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, preparing detailed reports and forecasts for management review.
- Coordinate closely with the Customer Support Officer to ensure accurate order processing, client communication, and high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the Production and Quality Management Officer to align product availability and quality with market demand.
- Develop sales forecasts to guide production planning and inventory management.
- Advise management on emerging markets, new product ideas, and growth opportunities.
- Ensure consistent brand messaging and high professional standards across all marketing and communication channels.
