Description:
Al Ghanim International is expanding its team and seeking a dedicated Senior QA/QC Engineer (Buildings) to support major construction projects in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. This position is ideal for someone who has strong experience in quality assurance and quality control within the UAE and is confident in handling all quality-related tasks across building developments.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Oversee and lead all QA/QC functions across assigned building projects, ensuring that work complies with project specifications, contractual commitments, and recognized international standards.
• Create and execute comprehensive quality plans, including Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), detailed method statements, and structured checklists tailored to each project.
• Conduct systematic inspections for civil, structural, architectural, and finishing activities, ensuring all work meets the approved quality benchmarks.
• Collaborate closely with consultants, contractors, and project teams to resolve non-conformance issues, initiate corrective actions, and implement proactive preventive measures.
• Prepare, organize, and maintain essential QA/QC documents such as Material Inspection Requests (MIRs), Work Inspection Requests (WIRs), progress reports, logs, and quality records required for audits and project handover.
• Monitor incoming materials, ensure proper testing procedures, and verify compliance with approved specifications and submittals.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related discipline.
• 5–7 years of specialized QA/QC experience in UAE building projects.
• Thorough understanding of QA/QC methodologies, international codes and standards (ISO, BS, ASTM), and UAE construction requirements.
• Proven ability to handle inspections, communicate effectively with project stakeholders, and lead quality improvement activities.
• Strong command of QA/QC documentation processes, MS Office tools, and recognized quality management systems.
