Job Description

JOB PURPOSE:

  • We seek an experienced Software Developer to lead the design, development, and architecture of enterprise automation and software solutions. The role is responsible for executing automation strategy, ensuring adherence to development best practices, and delivering secure, scalable, and highimpact systems that enhance operational efficiency. The Software Developer will provide technical leadership to project teams, mentor junior developers, and collaborate with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for innovation, process optimization, and technology-driven transformation aligned with organizational objectives.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Solution Architecture: Lead the design and architecture of automation and software solutions, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and maintainable.
  • Technical Oversight: Enforce development standards, secure coding practices, and documentation requirements while conducting code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices.
  • Software Development: Write, test, and maintain high-quality code for automation solutions and integration requirements.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, and project managers, to deliver seamless automation solutions.
  • Innovation and Improvement: Continuously explore emerging technologies and techniques to enhance automation efficiency and scalability.
  • Documentation: Prepare technical documentation, including process design documents, workflows, and user guides for automation solutions.
  • Governance & Quality Assurance: Establish and maintain development frameworks, version control, CI/CD pipelines, and testing standards.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE (QUALIFICATIONS):

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in software development and RPA tools (e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism).
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Kotlin, Python, Java, C#, or VB.NET.
  • Strong understanding of process mapping and business process automation principles.
  • Experience with APIs and system integrations.
  • Experience with CI/CD, Git, DevOps tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • A passion for innovation and a proactive approach to learning new technologies.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

  • Preferred Skills:
  • Solution Architecture and design.
  • Experience with AI/ML integration into RPA workflows.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms and the deployment of RPA solutions in cloud environments.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
