Cashier – Bakery

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Receive customers and complete sales quickly and accurately.
• Use a point-of-sale (POS) system to issue invoices and process cash and electronic payments.
• Arrange products at the counter and ensure the availability of bags and packaging materials.
• Handling customer inquiries and providing excellent service.
• Maintain daily sales records and ensure that amounts match at the end of the lip.
• Coordinate with the bakery team to prepare special or large orders.
• Handle complaints or comments professionally and refer them to management when needed.
• Adhere to hygiene standards within the cashier area and maintain a tidy appearance.
• Adhere to bakery policies and the specified working hours.

Skills and requirements:

• Proficiency Arabic language Speaking and writing.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to deal with different clients.
• Basic knowledge of using cashier and point-of-sale systems (or quickly learnable).
• High accuracy in calculation and handling of funds.
• Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
• It is preferable to have previous experience in the field of cashier or customer service
• Commitment, discipline and ability to work within a team.
