Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Support the month-end close process for both cash- and accrual-basis clients (QuickBooks Online).
- Maintain schedules (Google Sheets) to support account balances.
- Post general and adjusting journal entries.
- Create draft reporting packets in Fathom.
- Assist with client onboarding (migrating to new chart of accounts, setting up month-end schedules in project management software, etc.).
Required Attitudes & Attributes:
- Passion for learning and continuous improvement.
- Flexibility — we’re a new business, and processes may evolve.
- Diligence and efficiency — able to manage multiple clients in one day.
Required Experience:
- Strong experience with accrual accounting.
- Preferably experience in USGAAP-compliant environments (annual audits, etc.).
- Proficiency with Google Sheets and Google Drive.
- Strong experience with QuickBooks Online (certification is a plus!).
- Preferable experience with Bill.com.
