We’re Hiring: Accountant (with Internal Audit Experience)

Surrati Perfumes is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant with strong exposure to internal audit processes to join our Dubai team. The role involves managing daily accounting operations, ensuring financial accuracy, and supporting internal and external audits.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting & Finance:

• Handle daily accounting operations including AP, AR, GL entries, and bank reconciliations
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and prepare/file VAT returns
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation

Internal Audit & Controls:

• Conduct internal audit checks following company policies and guidelines
• Evaluate internal controls, identify gaps, and suggest process improvements
• Prepare audit reports detailing findings, recommendations, and corrective actions
• Ensure adherence to internal procedures, policies, and financial standards
• Assist external auditors during annual audits

🎯 Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3+ years of accounting experience with internal audit exposure preferred
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, internal controls, and financial reporting
• Experience working in the UAE and knowledge of VAT regulations
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software such as Tally, ERP, SAP, or QuickBooks
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines efficiently
