Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven strong>Marketing Associate to join our team in Nairobi. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective marketing strategies to engage customers and drive sales growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and execution of marketing plans and strategies.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
- Collaborate with the sales team to align marketing strategies with sales objectives.
- Create engaging content for various marketing channels including social media, email, and websites.
- Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and adjust strategies as needed.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders to enhance customer engagement.
- Assist in organizing promotional events and trade shows as needed.
Marketing Strategy & Implementation
- Develop and execute innovative, territory-specific marketing strategies to drive revenue growth across all product lines.
- Oversee day-to-day execution of marketing activities, ensuring all franchise sites and marketing materials are in alignment with the company’s brand standards.
- Coordinate digital marketing and social media activities.
Campaign Execution & Market Penetration
- Plan and coordinate activations, events, and promotional campaigns (ATL & BTL).
- Work with agency partners and franchisees to deliver marketing campaigns tailored to regional markets.
- Support in designing marketing collateral aligned with the company’s brand and assisting franchisees with localized materials.
- Track campaign performance, gather customer feedback, and recommend improvements.
Market Insights & Reporting
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs, competition, and trends.
- Prepare regular reports on sales and marketing activities for management review.
Team Support & Coordination
- Work closely with sales, operations, and customer service teams to ensure effective execution of campaigns and initiatives.
- Provide support and direction to franchisees on marketing activities.
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
- 2-3 years' experience in marketing, customer engagement, or sales roles.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficient in using digital marketing tools and platforms.
- Self-motivated with a strong desire to achieve results.
- Basic skills in budgeting and project coordination.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with social media platforms.
- Graphic design skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop) will be an added advantage.
