Job Summary

Hotpoint Appliances Ltd is seeking a dedicated and experienced Outbound Supervisor to join our team in Nairobi. As the Outbound Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the outbound operations in our warehouse, ensuring efficient and timely dispatch of goods to our valued customers. This role requires a proactive individual with strong skills in procurement, store-keeping, and supply chain management.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily outbound operations, ensuring the accurate and timely dispatch of products.
• Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure product availability and readiness for dispatch.
• Supervise and lead a team of storekeepers and logistics personnel, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Implement and maintain efficient inventory management practices to minimize errors and optimize stock levels.
• Collaborate with the supply chain team to enhance overall operational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators, identifying areas for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and industry standards.
• Conduct regular training sessions for team members to improve skills and maintain high performance levels.

Requirements

• Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a supervisory role within the retail or supply chain industry.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes, store-keeping, and supply chain management.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal.
• Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
