Kisiwa Technical Training Institute registration number MOHEST/PC/1144/09, under the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology was formally registered as East Bukusu Kisiwa Youth Club of the Elgon Nyanza District on 27th November, 1961 by the Kenya Youth Club Association and the first Courses were; Shoe making, Carpentry and Masonry and the founder members were Domnick Wetang’ula and Sylvester Kituyi with the objective of preparing the youth for self reliance and employment.
Job Description
JOB REQUIREMENT
- Degree in Land Survey.
- Pedagogy in Education.
- Registration with TVETA
Key Responsibilities:-
- Conduct training sessions on technical subjects.
- Monitor and evaluate student progress.
- Supervise students on Industrial Attachment.
- Undertake research in the respective training area.
- Design curriculum and training materials tailored to the specific needs and learning objectives.
Duration of Internship
- One (1) year non renewable
Stipend
- The Interns will be paid a stipend at a rate determined by the Institution and in accordance with existing government guidelines
Letter
- On successful completion of Internship Programme, the interns will be awarded a letter of Completion.
