Job Description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Timely Deliveries - Deliver customer laundry items to collection points or homes on schedule and within set costs.
- Proper Documentation - Ensure all orders have approved delivery notes/waybills and vehicle work tickets. Safe Handling & Storage - Securely load, unload, and store laundry items in the vehicle and at destinations.
- Order Coordination - Support operations in planning, organizing, and executing customer order movement. Inventory & Accuracy Count and verify linens before delivery to avoid errors.
- Vehicle Care & Safety - Inspect vehicles before use, drive safely, and follow proper equipment/chemical use. Customer Service Excellence - Act professionally, assist clients as needed, and maintain a helpful attitude.
- A Valid driving license
- Between 28-35 years
QUALIFICATIONS
- Certificate of good conduct
- Ability to communicate and use current technology to improve efficiencies
- Defensive driving skills and ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations/routes
- Knowledge of Nairobi Metropolis and it roads & neighbour hoods
- Experience working with delivery or security firms an added advantage.
- Proven experience as a driver/rider preferably in a laundry and dry-cleaning firm. qualification is required
