Job Description

Job Purpose

° A Market Intelligence Senior Manager plays a strategic leadership role in shaping data-driven decision-making across the organization. They align research insights and analytical frameworks with business priorities to uncover growth opportunities, optimize performance, and guide innovation. By overseeing the design and execution of research initiatives, they ensure that product, customer, and market intelligence is actionable and impactful. Their leadership supports revenue growth through strategic foresight, cost efficiency through operational insights, and customer satisfaction through evidence-based improvements. They also uphold data governance and regulatory standards, ensuring that analytics practices are ethical, secure, and aligned with organizational goals.

Responsibilities

° Data Governance and Quality: Establish standards for data integrity, consistency, and ethical use, ensuring that all analytics outputs are reliable and regulatory-compliant.

° Insight Leadership: Translate complex data into actionable insights that inform executive decision-making, product development, customer experience, and operational efficiency.

° Performance Monitoring: Define and oversee enterprise-level KPIs, ensuring that performance metrics are aligned with strategic objectives and continuously monitored.

° Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with leaders in finance, marketing, operations, and product to identify analytical needs and deliver tailored solutions that support their goals.

° Forecasting and Scenario Planning: Guide the development of predictive models and forecasting tools to support long-term planning and risk mitigation.

° Capability Building: Mentor and develop a high-performing analytics team, including roles like Product Performance Analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.

° Continuous Improvement: Champion the use of analytics to identify inefficiencies, optimize processes, and enhance profitability and customer satisfaction.

Accountabilities

° Financial: Provide Quarterly competitor Financial performance reports with insights to guide Business decisions

° People: Manage a team of ELPs on data Analytics and review reports from them. Work closely with BI team to ensure product dashboards are precise and provide insightful metrics on performance.

° Processes: Adhere to Product House Process and procedures, mitigating any risks laid down.

° Systems: Ensure platforms and systems used for market intelligence are up to date and well-integrated.

° The above position plays a pivotal role in analyzing market trends, generating actionable insights, and informing strategic decisions that drive business growth and enhance competitive positioning.

° The above role is at Group Level- supporting all licenses and Subsidiaries in providing product and channel , business reports.

° Customers/Clients: Work closely with internal clients who are users of reporting dashboards- train and continuously

Qualifications

Key Technical and Leadership Competencies Required

Technical Competencies

° Data Analysis – Strong in Excel, SQL, Python/R; statistical knowledge.

° Data Visualization – Proficient with tools like Tableau or Power BI.

° Product Analytics Tools – Experience with Google Analytics.

° KPI Tracking – Defining and measuring product success metrics.

° Experimentation – A/B testing, experimentation design, result interpretation.

 Leadership & Soft Skills

° Business Acumen – Linking product performance to business outcomes.

° Communication – Translating data into insights for stakeholders.

° Stakeholder Management – Collaborating across product managers and business teams.

° Critical Thinking – Solving problems and identifying key insights.

°  Influence & Adaptability – Leading with data and adjusting in fast-paced environments.

Experience Requirements

° Number of years: 15+ years and above

° Markets: Francophone markets a plus

° Functional areas: Research, Market Intelligence, Analysis

Other: Report writing/ Presentation skills

 Academic Qualifications

Master’s degree in Strategy

Degree in Economics
