Job Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Interior Designer, located in Nairobi County, Kenya. The Interior Designer will be responsible for planning and executing interior design projects, developing architectural plans and construction drawings, and selecting FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment). Day-to-day tasks involve collaborating with clients to determine their needs, creating design concepts, preparing detailed plans and specifications, and managing project timelines and budgets.
Qualifications
- Skills in Space Planning and Interior Design
- Experience with Architecture and Construction Drawings
- Knowledge of selecting and managing FF&E
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects
- Excellent communication and client management skills
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar tools
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field
- Previous experience in interior design or related field is a plus
