DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales & Business Development
Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the construction and hardware sectors.
Generate leads through cold calls, client visits, and networking.
Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Client Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
Provide excellent after-sales support and handle customer inquiries and complaints promptly.
Ensure timely follow-ups and regular check-ins with clients.
Account Management
Manage a portfolio of client accounts ensuring consistent communication and satisfaction.
Track sales performance and client activity using company CRM or manual logs.
Prepare and submit regular sales reports and forecasts.
Marketing & Promotion
Implement marketing campaigns and promotions in alignment with company strategies.
Analyze market trends and customer needs to develop effective marketing strategies.
Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and community events to promote the company’s products.
Daily Route Planning
Plan and execute daily field sales routes to maximize client engagement.
Optimize travel time and ensure coverage of designated sales territories.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Marketing, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales and marketing of hardware or construction materials
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to manage client accounts and develop strong customer relationships
Strong understanding of marketing strategies and current commercial trends in the construction industry
Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets
Proficient in daily route planning and time management
Certificate of Good Conduct is mandatory
