Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Prepare and modify artwork files to meet Flexographic and Rotogravure printing specifications.

Perform trapping, overprint settings, colour separations, and manage die-lines.

Conduct preflight checks and ensure artwork is fully press-ready.

Collaborate closely with the production, plate-making, cylinders making, and printing teams.

Ensure design files comply with all technical specifications and quality standards.

Maintain an organized archive of artwork and production files.

Support continuous improvement initiatives in the prepress workflow.

Stay updated on latest software and industry developments related to prepress and packaging design.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

 

Diploma or Certificate in Graphic Design, Printing Technology, or a related field.

Minimum of 3 years experience in a prepress or similar graphic design role within the flexographic or rotogravure printing industry.

Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.

Strong knowledge of print file setup and colour management for Flexo/Roto printing.

Experience using Esko software tools is an added advantage.

Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects.

Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
