Job Description

Duties;

 

Serve as a liaison with the Pharmacy and Poisons Board.

 

Assist the branch manager in managing the branch operations.

 

Oversee the procurement and warehousing process to ensure smooth operations, proper storage, adherence to FIFO, management of expiries, and maintaining items in excellent condition.

 

Receive, investigate, and respond to all market complaints appropriately.

 

Authorize and maintain records of all credit notes.

 

Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures.

 

Ensure compliance with good distribution practices.

 

Maintain all customer documentation records.

 

Verify the quantity and condition of items upon delivery.

 

Evaluate offers from medical representatives.

 

Keep records of purchases, pricing, and other pertinent data.

 

Monitor stock levels and place orders as necessary.

 

Review and negotiate pricing and supply contracts.

 

Manage returns of slow-moving, overstocked, or soon-to-expire products.

 

Make professional decisions in a fast-paced environment.

 

Foster and maintain relationships with medical representatives.

 

Ensure continuous supply of high-quality products and monitor their storage conditions.

 

Recruitments; 

 

Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy.

 

At least 2 years of experience in procurement or a related role.

 

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel).

 

Knowledge of Sage ERP is advantageous.

 

Excellent understanding of the pharmaceutical market.
